Sony’s SAL1118 Super Wide-Angle Zoom Lens for the Alpha Digital SLR Camera enables colourful photographic expression, covering a focal point range from super wide-angles of 16.5mm to 27mm (35 mm equivalent).

The SAL1118 Lens uses aspherical lenses and ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) glass lenses to reduce flare and adequately correct spherical and frame aberrations that trouble shooting in super wide-angle ranges. The beautiful, defocused effect rendered by its circular aperture makes the SAL1118 perfect for capturing nightscapes that contain spot lighting. Its internal focusing system also ensures comfortable auto focus while shooting.
