With this pocket-sized instrument you can keep a watch for sunspot magnetic storms and major flares. Monitor the causes of space weather and anticipate its effects on the earth such as auroral lights, electrical blackouts and disruption to satellites.

Compact, 10 x 25 Roof Prism binoculars with integral white light filtering to enable safe viewing of the Sun's photosphere. The filters are coated with an extremely hard metal in a proprietary process that eliminates pinholes and other defects. The light of the Sun is reduced to a comfortable one one-hundred-thousandth of its normal intensity (1 x 10e-5) and all ultra-violet and infra-red components are completely and safely blocked.
