8.1 Megapixel CCD Sensor
The CCD-Chip of the EXILIM Card EX-S880 supplies a rich 8.1 million Pixels of full colour brilliance and focus. Such high resolution photos give you the advantage that you can print them out in excellent quality or edit them on the computer. This means that enlargement of details and poster size photos are possible.

Anti-Shake DSP
You photograph the most beautiful settings and discover later that some pictures are blurred. Anti Shake DSP* prevents just that.

Best Shot
You don't have to be an expert to take fantastic pictures, in fact the EX-S880 has 39 flexible pre-settings for all sorts of situations to ensure that all photos and movies turn out well automatically. With BEST SHOT you can create and save your own settings in a flash too and you can retrieve them at any time. Nearly all EX-S880 BEST SHOT motif settings are suitable both for taking photos and movies.

Super Battery Life
When, for perfectly good reasons, the battery suddenly dies, it's more than annoying - but avoidable. EX-S880 uses very little energy and takes a Super Life Battery. And so it has enough power to take 220 photos to CIPA standard.

Wide & Bright 2.8" Screen
The EX-S880 comes equipped with an extremely bright and wide 7.1 cm (2.8-inch) wide screen TFT colour display, which offers an even larger visual angle. It features 230,400 pixels and can thus allow a particularly brilliant display of your pictures. With approx. 1000 cd/m² the display features above-average brightness and this means the user can view every motif very accurately, no matter how bright the sunlight. And to ensure you have the best view whatever the situation, the luminous intensity can be adjusted to suit the light in the area in question. You have four default settings at your disposal for this purpose: -1/0/+1/+2/AUTO.

H.264 High Quality Movies
Anything is possible. You just have to want it. With the EX-S880, you can turn your brilliant ideas into digital reality – and in extremely high quality too, as the movies are recorded in innovative H.264 format. The H.264 enables you to record up to 1.5x longer high resolution films with sound than in MPEG4 format, with the same memory space and in the same picture quality. Extremely practical: The video clips are optimized automatically for YouTube with the new YouTube Capture Mode.
