Starlight 80

This entry level telescope is ideal for the beginner wanting more features and larger high resolution optics. The StarLight 80mm Refractor has a host of features normally only found on higher priced models. The optics are a generous 80mm quality achromat and fully multicoated housed in an aluminium tube with an aluminium dewshield. The all metal equatorial mount with geared slow motion controls sits on a chrome steel fully adjustable tripod affording a stable platform which is essential for higher magnifications. The package includes all the accessories required to start observing including two 1.25" eyepieces and a 2x Barlow allowing a range of magnifications from 32x to over 200x. The finderscope is 6x30 with fine crosshairs and a unique bracket which can be adjusted for left or right eyed use. Two versions of the telescope are available, the standard package is manually operated and the driven version includes an electric RA tracking motor and battery box ideal for detailed visual work or astro imaging.
