The large objective lens diameter enables observation in razor-sharp detail due to excellent light-gathering qualities even at high magnifications. Fluoride-containing HD lenses (HD models only) minimise colour fringing (chromatic aberration) and deliver contrast-rich images with razor-sharp outlines. Ideal for digital photography through the telescope. The angled version is eminently suitable for observing in comfort whether the birds are on the ground, in trees or in awkward positions such as high above in the sky while a straight angle simplifies locating and following birds in flight and is ideal for observing from a hide or car.

The SWAROCLEAN non-stick effect makes cleaning easier in the case of dirt such as water marks, insect repellents and tree resin. The SWAROCLEAN coating, which is applied in a special process, affects the surface energy of the outer surfaces of the lenses so that dirt can be removed effortlessly.

The new magnesium technology means considerably lower weight with maximum stability. Rugged, compact and corrosion-restistant, the observation telescopes are able to withstand consistently harsh conditions. The telescopes, which are dustproof and watertight, are also protected by an easy to handle rubber armouring. This protection against external impacts is absolutely essential particularly with HD lenses. The nitrogen filling ensures that the lenses do not fog up. As a result, the new observation telescopes can be confidently used in the most severe weather conditions.
