These handy Duovids offer a double magnification change. 12x magnification is unique in a premium 42 mm binocular and allows the user to observe the finest nuances of any image.
The compact 42 mm Duovid offers both 8x magnification, with a wide field of view and a shake-free image, as well as a 12x magnification, ideal for discerning additional detail. Like with the 50 mm model, the patented eyepieces with two click stops provide optimum eye relief adaptable to the needs of the viewer. Changing magnification is done separately for both tubes by turning the two rings. With the integrated Automatic Diopter Compensation (ADCTM ), the diopter value you set is retained even when changing magnification.
The supreme twilight performance of the 12x magnification allows for detail recognition in early twilight. As darkness sets, the 8x magnification is preferred with its greater image brightness and increased depth of field.
LEICA DUOVID 10 + 15 x 50
The Duovids with 50 mm lens diameter and optional 10x or 15x magnification close the gap between binoculars and a spotting scope with their 15x magnification.
This Duovid is a high-aperture, high-performance set of binoculars that becomes a mini spotting scope with a simple flick of the wrist. In the 10x position, it offers a steady image with a large depth of field. Changing to 15x allows for a level of detail recognition that was previously reserved for spotting scopes. All of this with using both eyes! Because of its excellent imaging performance, the 50mm Duovid is especially suited for twilight and night sitting in the stand, and the necessary tripod adapter for longe-range viewing is included with the binoculars. The ergonomic form and tactile rubber reinforcement ensures a sure grip - even in wet and with gloves - and allows for good image steadiness.

Here you can view flexibly, quickly, and without a spotting scope. A good overview while in the field is best achieved with 10x magnification, easily changed over to as needed.
